Foxes are special and it is terrible that the current government is considering to water down the current ban on fox hunting despite the fact that people (the people who voted for them) don't want that. This is my protest.

Long time no see... Ranunculus

So it's been a while. I had this nasty cold that was going round and it took a bit of time to shake it off and catch up with everything. However, I am back and here are some ranunculus I bought at the weekend. Aren't they pretty? Photographed in natural light and edited in Lightroom and Photoshop - mostly colour adjustments to make them look as bright as they look on my table. :D

Ribcage Heart

Another in my vintage hearts series. This one was created from an upside down ribcage (yes, I know it's the wrong way round but it fitted better with the shape I wanted to create), and ivy (several public domain images) and lots of textures, mostly bought but I think one freebie. 

Subtitle for this one is: love grows in the strangest places. 

Don't forget, hearts are for forever not just for Christmas. :D

Vintage Battered Heart

I am a total sucker for heart designs. :D Thanks to Black Friday and Cyber Monday I got some new resources I just had to try out and play with. 

The heart is made with a selection of vintage wing illustrations I bought a while back and a public domain scroll plus lots of bought textures combined to create this slightly battered vintage heart. All mixed in Photoshop.
