Murder Board

I just got Ripper Street on DVD and I love it. This is inspired by the amazing title sequence. :D Public domain and personal/bought resources mixed together in Photoshop. The font is GL Steak Brush. I added drips and an FX effect.
The quote is by Aldous Huxley: It takes two to make a murder. There are born victims, born to have their throats cut, as the cut-throats are born to be hanged.
Available as posters, t-shirts, mugs, bedding, framed prints, canvas prints, cases for phones, laptops and ipads, clocks, rugs, travel mugs in all my various outlets. :D Some samples below.

Inspired by song of the same name. :D
The image is a mix of the type (font is Skumfuk), which I bought a while ago and was dying to use, and a bull skull picture I bought and then edited into a silhouette, some textures and my own blood spatter photogaph :D

Magnification

I had a little play with my new magnification lenses. I liked the effect and the way the object seemed to change depending on how closely you looked at it, so I combined it in a triptych and added the clever quote by Oliver Wendell Holmes.
The mind, once expanded to the dimensions of larger ideas, never returns to its original size.
All images/textures/brushes my own or bought. Edited with Photoshop.
All my images are available on Redbubble, Artflakes, Society6 and Bluecanvas as prints, cards, posters, skins for laptops, Blackberry, iPhones and other phones (for the skins go to Bluecanvas).

Wooden print blocks forming the word Kiss. I loved the texture of the old wooden print blocks and added them to a picture of a wall covered in a virginia creeper vine. I love the softness and feeling of movement. The brushes used to create the swirls are my own.
Created with my own photographs in Photoshop, no stock used.

I bought a few wooden print blocks and letters a little while back and took pictures of them from different angles and in different positions. This one, when I looked at the S on its back, looked to me like it would make the perfect house. :-) The beach image was taken at Holme Beach, UK. I'd love to live there and always wanted to live in a really unusual house with higgledy piggledy rooms and secret stairs. LOL

Scrabble tiles on a 'found' wall of wood. That's all a story really is, isn't it? A beginning, a middle and an end? What makes a story? What makes a good story?
Here's my poem Fairy Tales Are Lies to go with the image.
Created with my own photographs in Photoshop, no stock used.
