Sneak Peeks

I've been working really hard, truly, I have. Mostly photography for book covers, so not that much to show, but at least you'll be able to see what I did with the paper flowers. :-)

I am also working on two vintage images (sometimes ideas come in twos and if you don't grab them really fast they run away). So there will be more soon, just not quite yet. 

Here's a sneak peek of the book covers I have been working on. A romantic theme (mostly) with Valentine's Day coming up.

Taken at the park. I love the way the two branches grow together, maybe with Spring (hopefully) not that far away they will grow together even more with intertwining leaves... I thought it was a lovely alternative to the usual Valentine's Day sentiments.

My Romantic Valentine

This is a hand drawn card, or rather the original was. I took two pictures, one of the black and white outlines, and another of the finished, hand coloured one, but the second one didn't come out that well, so I used the outlines, traced them and converted them to paths and then coloured them in using Photoshop and added some texture and colour adjustments. Most of the fill patterns are mine, but there are a couple from Pixels & Ice Cream.
