New vintage times painting. Created with bought, free and public domain resources.

Considering I am VERY afraid of heights I do a lot of pictures of flying. Maybe if I had wings heights wouldn't scare me so much? There is something that draws me to the sky.....

Edited and mixed up in Photoshop and Illustrator. :D

Available as prints, phone and tablet cases, T-shirts, hoodies, mugs and travel mugs, wall hangings and shower curtains, cushions and bags, duvet covers and stationary cards. Oh and mouse mats. :D Have a ball. Have a set. :D

New typography poster with vintage (public domain) elements and bought resources. The font is Abigail. The words are my own. I love words. Words are special and need to be used with care. :D

Punk Heart

Another in my vintage hearts series. This one was created from a simplified version of the first one (vintage battered heart) and whilst I was creating things came to me... :D Lots of textures in this one (mostly bought) mixed with public domain images and bought and made shapes. All mixed in Photoshop.

Subtitle for this one is: Punk is not dead

Don't forget, hearts are for forever not just for Christmas. :D

Vintage Battered Heart

I am a total sucker for heart designs. :D Thanks to Black Friday and Cyber Monday I got some new resources I just had to try out and play with.

The heart is made with a selection of vintage wing illustrations I bought a while back and a public domain scroll plus lots of bought textures combined to create this slightly battered vintage heart. All mixed in Photoshop.

Keep your eyes peeled. There is a giveaway coming up in the next few days. :D Something pretty is coming your way....

Fear of Butterflies

A mixed media collage of photographs of a peacock butterfly that had been trapped between the two parts of a sash window (and freed after my photo session that really didn't take very long), textures, colour overlays and curve adjustments, and a fake blood image I took ages ago.

I love butterflies and I am not fearful of them at all, but I wonder how I'd feel trapped amongst lots of them...?

Another combo of public domain images, bought and free resources mixed up in Photoshop. I am not sure what her story is but she looks kind of sad and thoughtful despite her wings and butterflies. Maybe she's trying to be too many things at once.

Icarus - The Romance Version

A new piece based on my original Icarus - The Yearning. It's one of my favourite images and I thought it was time for an update.

This is a mix of a photo I took of five feathers, which I then edited in Photoshop to look like a painting and overlaid with vintage images of wings and a Delft blue colour. It reminded me of Delft porcelain and the delicate blue designs you find on that.

More Vintage magic... a combination of bought and (found) public domain resources, combined as always in Photoshop. I love mannequins and wings and clouds and fire. You can't go wrong with them, they always go together. :D

The quote is by Christopher Poindexter. The full quote is:

I loved her not for the way she danced with my angels, but for the way the sound of her name could silence my demons
