A for Autumn

I went out in the lovely autumn sunshine and took some pictures of the remaining foliage. I generally don't like autumn much because it means summer is at an end and winter is just around the corner, but I love days like yesterday. 

If you look carefully at the picture you see what I spotted when I took the picture... hence the name. :D

Edited with textures and colour adjustments.

Fear of Butterflies

A mixed media collage of photographs of a peacock butterfly that had been trapped between the two parts of a sash window (and freed after my photo session that really didn't take very long), textures, colour overlays and curve adjustments, and a fake blood image I took ages ago. 

I love butterflies and I am not fearful of them at all, but I wonder how I'd feel trapped amongst lots of them...?

I love the idea of travel and travel in unusual ways. Here I am imagining myself travelling in a sky cage contraption with mini elephants. :D
