Holidays by the Seaside

Imagine a Stephen King-esque holiday. :-) This is a photo manipulation using 4 of my images. I love these bullet shaped caravans, although I am not usually a fan of caravans. I could imagine this parked in a big garden though and used as a studio. :-)

All images and textures my own or bought. Edited with Photoshop.

on Society6:

Outdoor cushions now available on Society6.
How great is that, now you can take your favourite cushions outside with you. :-) All my images that are available on cushion covers already are also available as outdoor cushions (special pads can be bought with the covers). If there's an image that isn't available as a cushion cover yet, send an me a quick mail and I see what I can do. :-)

Words from my poem of the same name:

I shed this skin
and what is left will be the rainbow
that escaped me for so long
and I will hug myself
and hold it tight
and I will never let it go

Image of the Cambridgeshire countryside taken by me a while back.

All images/textures/brushes my own or bought. Edited with Photoshop.

All my images are available on Redbubble, Artflakes, Society6 and Bluecanvas as prints, cards, posters, skins for laptops, Blackberry, iPhones and other phones (for the skins go to Bluecanvas). You can now also get most of my images on cushion covers (go to Society6 for these).

Taken at the park.

Words my own, you can read the whole poem here:

the heart

sometimes recovers

in the glow of

new love and

the warmth of

a gaze that looks

at it with

an open mind and

adoration

and takes it

and all the baggage

by the hand

back into the light

and

into a new spring

All images/textures/brushes my own or bought. Edited with Photoshop.

All my images are available on Redbubble, Artflakes, Society6 and Bluecanvas as prints, cards, posters, skins for laptops, Blackberry, iPhones and other phones (for the skins go to Bluecanvas).

I was trying to portrait the emotions that sometimes shake us when we have to make a decision and all our choices seem to be bad ones. This is not a matter of  good vs. evil, but just the feeling when you're not sure what to do for the best.

Girl with Dreams - Cover - Girl with... series

Sub Title: Catch them when you can

This is the final image in the series and the cover for my Redbubble calendar. All images in the series can be seen here.

Again, a romantic image at first glance, but like all others there's a little bit more behind it. When we begin our lives (hopefully) we're still full of dreams, looking forward to growing up and becoming an adult as a great adventure and often with much impatience. We hold the key to fulfill our dreams but life is not always gentle and there are many dark clouds at the horizon. This image includes elements from some of the other images and is the starting point for all of them, the same way as we hold the key elements for our life when we are young, it just depends on what we make of them.

Stormqueen - Photo Manipulation

Inspired by the book of the same name, Stormqueen! by Marion Zimmer Bradley (Darkover Series).

I've always loved the book and the concept of a sorceress able to direct the weather (and storms).
