Spring diptychs and new calendar

The weather has been awful and grey for weeks. When the sun came out this morning I just had to take some pictures of the first signs of Spring. I can't wait for more! :-)

New Calendar - From the Depths of My Heart

Created with my recent triptychs and available from Redbubble. Remember - you can get all triptychs in a (useful calendar) for the price of one matted print of one of the triptychs... a bargain! :-)

New Calendar - Once Upon A Time

I've posted my latest calendar last night. It contains all the images from the diptych series and is a fabulous way of getting all the images for a fraction of the price - a matted print of one of the images is the same price as the whole calendar.
Here's what you get:

I am so pleased with how this turned out. However, it's time to move on and play with some new ideas. LOL Triptychs are next. :-)

New Calendar - Season of Love

My new calendar with all the recent mock book covers is now available on Redbubble. Just click on the images above to see the calendar in all it's glory or click here to see my other calendars. :-)

New Calendar: Love Bullets

This is a collaboration with PhilosophyLee and myself.

I love his sometimes apparently simple and obvious and at other times confounding but always thought provoking writings.

This is the calendar called Love Bullets I’ve created with some of my favourites of his ‘Love Bullets’ as he calls his writings.

Calendars - Story Time and SoulScapes

If you like my photo manipulations, here's an easy way to own more then one and not splash out a huge amount for prints - my new Story Time calendar:

It includes 12 of (I think) my best photo manipulations:

And there's also my SoulScapes Calendar:

Which contains 12 images specially created for this calendar:

The calendars are A3 and the print quality is fabulous. :-)

Into the Maelstrom and Cover Page

This is the December image for my 2010 Soulscapes calendar.

I have used lots of my own textures and patterns (including the wallflower pattern and a new feather pattern), some of them photographs taken in Cambridgeshire (Lode and Reach).

Other textures are from fellow Deviants:
- Grunge by Buzillo
- Grunge Nebulae Textures by Fudgegraphics
- Big Light Textures by HinataTentenAnkoRul

The beetle is a red lily beetle and details can be seen below.

The calendar is available now from my Redbubble site.

Here's the cover image:

My next project will be the pattern/digistamp packs. I've already secured Nunt from PiquantPurls as my tester. So, this will occupy me in the next few weeks... amongst preserving, apples, sloes, blackberries and hopefully some quinces.

I also can't wait to get back to some knitting! I've got some plans for some gorgeous cherry red Malabridgo silk blend..... :-)

Lost at Sea - Revisited

Here is the latest photo collage, or rather a deviation of the original 'Lost at Sea'. Although I liked the original I felt that there was something missing.

When I was hunting around for an 'insect' to include in the last collage, I came across the Luna Moth and thought it would be perfect for this collage to give it a focal point. I love the shape of it which reminds me of a manta ray.

I have also added additional textures.

This now includes apart from the Abused Floors texture by One Cold Canadian the following textures:
- Grunge Textures by Buzillo
- Grunge & Dirty Textures by Redheadstock
- Rust Textures by TextureStockByHJS

Here is the Luna Moth which has been handpainted:
