I found some glass shards in the street and couldn't resist picking them up and taking pictures of them. There are (hopefully) more pictures to come of this venture. This image is to accompany the poem 'putting it all together'. The words are from the poem.

just a few shards
glittering in
someone else’s sun
letters and writing
from days long ago

I've always loved this stock image. It's so cool, but I couldn't think of anything to do with it, because it was perfect as it was, however, then this idea came to me. It reminds me of the scene in Gone with the Wind where Scarlett makes herself a dress from the drawing room curtains. I love the make and mend idea behind this and the fun red shoes. A girl doing for herself and having fun whilst doing so. :-)

The Sky is Blue Somewhere Else

I am still going with the Snow White theme here. Don't we always think that somewhere else the grass is greener, the sky more blue... etc? And whilst we think that, we neglect what we have.
