I am still playing with feathers, not quite sure why, but there is something about them that inspires me. This is a series of images about emotion. The feathers were picked up whenever I saw one lying on the ground, mostly pigeon but there are a couple of blackbird feathers amongst them.

All other images and textures my own or bought. Edited with Photoshop.

Hearts everywhere!

Hearts seem to be a naturally occurring shape, maybe that's why it's such a pleasing shape or maybe it means love can be found everywhere? I found this 'chip' and just couldn't resist taking a picture of it. And doesn't it look pretty after I added some colour adjustments and textures? One of the textures is a picture I took of Angelina Fibre. :-)

All images/textures/brushes my own or bought. Edited with Photoshop.

All my images are available on Redbubble, Artflakes, Society6 and Bluecanvas as prints, cards, posters, skins for laptops, Blackberry, iPhones and other phones (for the skins go to Bluecanvas). You can now also get most of my images on cushion covers (go to Society6 for these).

Unravelling - Photo Manipulation

This is my latest photo manipulation to go with my poem Unravelling.
I created the texture for the code on the model's back:
Texture on the model's skin:
The writing was created by using many, many different fonts and symbols and blending them with textures.
I also knitted part of my 'stock' images this time, took a photo of the knitting and then 'welded' it to the model's lower back. I also used the knitting to create a paper texture (or grain) in Painter and painted it over parts of the back to make it homgeneous.
