It's been a couple of weeks of crafting and all sorts of little things, in preparation for Christmas.
These are last week's fruits of my labour:
Hearts,
birds
and stars, wooden shapes covered in fabric (birds), paper and glitter: Ready to hang.
This is how I started off yesterday:
These bits of tissue paper became
flowers:
and then were attached to a wire frame:
which in turn was covered in at least 40 but more like 50 flowers to hang as a wreath on my door. :-)These little fellows and their fellow bambi wooden shapes were first fixed up with some brooch pins and little hangers (or in the case of the bambis relieved of their bits of string),
then covered in a couple of coats of paint:
before they were painted individually, little owls
and little foxes
and bambi had a coat of glitter applied:
They all still need a coat of varnish, then they can go off into the world, except for the bambis, the first lot of ornaments and the wreath, those are this year's Christmas decorations. :-) If you want a little owl or fox (pendant or brooch, colours available are brown, white and black), give me a shout, otherwise they'll go in my Etsy shop soon.
You have been busy! I bet your house is looking very pretty for Christmas.
