Camera Magic

I bought a couple of new (old) cameras at a street fete stall two weeks ago and finally got round to taking some pictures of them. There's something magic and fabulous about vintage cameras, a bit like there is about old cars. There's character and there's and attention to detail in the simplicity of the designs.... I could go on forever, but why don't I just show you how I feel?

How is that for some eyecandy? Or do you need to be a photographer to get that?

All images/textures/brushes my own or bought. Edited with Photoshop.

All my images are available on Redbubble, Artflakes, Society6 and Bluecanvas as prints, cards, posters, skins for laptops, Blackberry, iPhones and other phones (for the skins go to Bluecanvas).

  1. What a great find! Box Brownies always look so romantic and you feel the photographs from them will always be something special, perhaps because each shot has to be carefully considered unlike the random snapping possible with a digital.
