Fragile (three feathers)

The last in the current feather series. Three mixed feathers shattered. There's something fragile about feathers and birds, maybe it's the hollow bones that allow them to fly. Not sure but I always think of birds as being fragile. Maybe not emus. LOL

This is a combo of lots of textures and my own photograph, edited and mixed up in Photoshop.

I feel so inspired by the wonderful autumn/winter light and the contrast of the bare branches and the little colour left in the remaining leaves and fruit against clear crisp sky.
