dreams and visions

I am not sure if I can explain this one or if it even should be explained. Flower petals (peony) a small snail shell and a feather. Dreams and visions are made of very little that's substantial, at least in a material sense, they require us to withdraw into ourselves (shell) and find our wings, so we can float like petals off a blossom in an inner space that grants us dreams and visions...

Blue Moon

Blue Moon rose from my garden. It's one of my all time favourites, not only is it big, blowsy, abundant and purple/blue it also has a very intense sweet smell. A few colour adjustments and a subtle texture.

This image was taken yesterday in my front garden. Yes, there are still a few roses in my garden even in the depth of winter. :-) I love roses and this one is a particular favourite of mine because of its lovely scent. The Last of the Moonlight

I have two of these wire dummies to display the jewellery I make. I love the detail on them and the 'feminity' they encapsulate so took some pictures of them. 

The image is for me about the 'autumn of our lives', when we take stock of who we are, who we were and when we have to reassess who we want to be. It's about the lost beauty of youth and the treasures we have accumulated. :-)
