Days out - Suffolk Coast: Aldeburgh, Thorpeness and Leiston Abbey
Last weekend I took lots of photos at the Suffolk Coast. Here are just a few tidbits.
Some of those images (this is just a very small selection) will make it into my art and into the stock section of my DeviantArt account sometime soon, when I have the time. First I'll have to update my website... lots of good news coming (as soon as I am free to tell...)
Days out - Audley End - The Home Front
Last weekend Audley End House hosted a WWII Home Front event. Below are a few pictures from this marvellous show.
The last image is of a Peregrine Falcon which was part of a show about falconry and other animals (dogs, owls) and how they were used in the war.

Believe it or not - this wonderful building, which looks more like a dowager's retreat is the stables. Behind it are the beautiful organic gardens.
The WWII Home Front Event
A fantastic even including battle re-enactments, 1940s dance lessons, and all sorts of other fabulous events and history for everyone to enjoy.
