Some crimes are just too big to be hidden, they'll always shine through, and they always keep us bound. 

Again, no one was hurt in the taking of this image. All 'bloody' effects including the plastic sheet were added in Photoshop through textures.

Second in the series. Sometimes the scars are on the outside, sometimes they're visible, but most of us are bound by the things that happened in our past and it affects our future.

Please note, no one was hurt in the taking of this image. All the effects - blood, scratches etc - were added afterwards in Photoshop.

No one was hurt during the taking of these images. :-) The rope was loose and all the effects (including the barcode) were added in Photoshop.

Although it's a 'scary' picture with all it implies, to me it also has a strange beauty. In a way reconising you are bound is the first step to freedom. The barcode is to indicate how much we are bound nowadays by brands and labels (not just the marketing kind either). We all seem to be held fast by the labels people attach to us to make it easier to put us into a drawer and forget about us.

Tortured heart

The third in the series.

Is your heart torn up, shredded and full of gashes? Do you keep vile poisons ready for anticipated slights? Are you sure everyone is out to get you? Then this heart is for you.

Tip: There is far more kindness and goodness around than your past experiences led you to believe.
